I’m Billy Clarke MCIOB AssocRICS, an independent building surveyor with 23 years’ experience in residential construction, practising through B.C Surveying Hertfordshire Ltd – an RICS-regulated firm (RICS member number 6956685).
When you instruct B.C Surveying, you are instructing me personally. I carry out the inspection myself, write the report myself and make time afterwards to talk you through the findings.
I also own and operate a residential construction company. That day-to-day experience of building, refurbishment and repair helps me recognise defects, understand why they have happened and explain appropriate ways to put them right. The two businesses are kept entirely separate.
